Living with conditions such as Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) or Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) often means needing the right support, at the right time.
cann is now extending its support to include Atypical Parkinson’s — PSP and MSA.
This marks an important step in broadening access to condition-specific allied health support for people living with less common and more complex neurological conditions across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Through cann’s national Clinical Allied Neurological Network, people with a confirmed diagnosis may be eligible for a funded Condition-Oriented Rehabilitation & Education (CORE) package, designed to provide practical, coordinated support.
This includes a comprehensive assessment, a personalised plan, and follow-up support shaped around your goals and day-to-day needs — with neuro physiotherapy and other allied health input where appropriate and available.
Support is available both in person and via telehealth where needed, helping people access consistent care wherever they live.
Access is available for people with a confirmed diagnosis of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) or Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), confirmed by a neurologist or geriatrician.
