Delivering life-changing support and clinical excellence across Aotearoa New Zealand

Improving lives

cann Charitable Trust (formerly the Duncan Foundation) is a nonprofit dedicated to improving lives for people physically impacted by neurological conditions.

After diagnosis, there was silence — no plan, no direction, just a name for what was wrong. I felt so relieved to finally find experts who knew how to help.

Too often, people are left to navigate their condition alone.

We bridge that gap — offering expert care, trusted guidance, and practical tools to help people live better, longer, with their condition.

Our name, cann, stands for Clinical Allied Neurological Network — a reflection of our nationwide network of allied health professionals, our clinical expertise, and our focus on neurological conditions.

As we grow, we’re committed to supporting more New Zealanders with neuromuscular and neurological conditions, especially where gaps in services exist.

We’re proudly supported by the Sir Thomas and Lady Duncan Trust and generous donors, and we work in partnership with health and disability organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand.
